GALAL RAMADAN

"I believe the creative adult is the child who survived — and kept dreaming."

Born in Alexandria, Egypt, as one of eleven children in a modest home, I grew up in a world where art was seen as a luxury. Yet I was always drawn to beauty — the sea’s colors, textured walls, and expressive faces. Though art wasn’t nurtured early on, the dream never faded.

After immigrating to the U.S. and working in design and business, I rediscovered my voice through colored pencil — a medium that mirrors my values: patience, precision, and storytelling. My work blends realism with cultural reflection, nature, and emotional depth.

Now an award-winning, self-taught artist and instructor, I teach others to use colored pencil as a powerful visual language. My journey proves that when passion endures, art can thrive — and help others reconnect with their creative spirit.

I am a Signature Member of the CPSA and UKCPS, an elected member of the American Artists Professional League, and have been featured in several international art publications. I regularly exhibit my work across the United States and internationally, and teach workshops across South Florida, sharing both my technique and my story to inspire others and build the cultural fabric of our community through art.
