The five submitted artworks are from a new collection for exhibition titled “Tiny Universes Everywhere.” Gathered from experiences during our brief transitional, transformative seasons, autumn and spring, “Tiny Universes Everywhere” is an intimate, visual exploration of earthy yet otherworldly ecosystems found in our immediate natural surroundings, from suburban backyards and regional parks to wetland preserves.
Through detailed, layered watercolors, written observations, a story, and science, “Tiny Universes Everywhere” becomes a masterclass in devoted attention to everyday wonders that can evoke feelings of awe, curiosity, and connection.
